Testimony of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wu Lingxia Who Was Tortured at the Shuangyashan Detention Center, Heilongjiang Province (Photos)

Looking at these two pictures, and then looking at her parents in their 80's and her young child, tears ran down my face. My fellow practitioner Ms.Wu Lingxia has been changed to such an extent within several months. I can't help asking, "Why does one have to pay such a high price for simply being a good person?"

Wu Lingxia is a steadfast practitioner. She went to Beijing twice to validate Dafa. After being kidnapped and having her money extorted from her, the lawless police often went to her home to harass her. Her husband was unable to withstand the police's frequent harassment and felt anxious and afraid all day long. He ended up divorcing his wife. Wu Lingxia and her young child left Changchun City and went back to her hometown of Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province.

After returning home, refusing to give up practicing Falun Gong, local police repeatedly arrested her where they illegally interrogated her and extorted money from her.

In May 2001, When Wu Lingxia went to visit a fellow practitioner, she was reported and arrested again. One month after she was detained in the Shuangyashan Detention Center, she was transferred to the Xigemu Forced Labor Camp in Jiamusi City, on July 2. Unlawful imprisonment caused her to suffer tremendously both in mind and body. In the end, she was sent back home, diagnosed as having a liver problem that resulted in severe edema in her abdomen. When I saw her again I witnessed the extent to which she had been tortured. We can imagine how severely she was tortured during her detention.
