A Hurricane Spares Teacher's Article

A few months ago, my workplace had planned to hold a calligraphy exhibit and the leader of the union asked me to participate. I copied down Teacher's article, "Wealth with Virtue" (from Falun Dafa Essentials for Further Advancement). This "work" of calligraphic art broke through many obstacles and was mounted at the most obvious place inside the window.

The visitors exclaimed one after another; "This one is truly wonderful!"

Then on July 12, 2002, our region was struck by the most intense hurricane in 50 years. The hurricane left a huge mess in its wake, with many big trees blown down. Windows were broken from the impact of flying stones or other hard objects, the asphalt waterproof layer on the roof of each building had been partially destroyed, and steel communication towers dozens of meters tall were blown down, which caused a power outage for several hours. The loss appeared huge and serious.

The glass of the window display had been broken, and most of the display items had been blown away and lost. However, the work, "Wealth with Virtue" had been left unscathed by the brutal storm. Except for being slightly wet from the rain, it remained in perfect condition.

The sun came out again after the storm and my workplace mounted new glass in the window to protect Teacher's article, "Wealth with Virtue."
