The No.1 Division of the Changchun Police Department has employed various
unimaginably brutal means of torture in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners.
Below is a partial list:
- Insert practitioner's ten fingers into bullet casings and constantly rub
the shells until the fingers become badly mangled and dripping with blood.
- Cover a practitioner's head with plastic bags to the point of
asphyxiation. Then punch the practitioner violently in the stomach, forcing
him or her to gasp for breath while half suffocated from the plastic bag.
The result is extremely terrifying.
- Tie practitioners down on the "tiger bench" [a brutal torture

for a detailed description] for a long time. Many practitioners are
unable walk after this torture.
- Beat practitioners inhumanly until they are black with bruises or even
bleeding all over the body.
- "Interrogate practitioners elsewhere", which actually means to
send practitioners under escort to a secret place, similar to
"Zhazidong" [a concentration camp where the Kuomingtang used to
torture Communists during the civil war period in China], and torture
them. One practitioner was escorted blindfolded to a place and there a
policeperson said, "If you don't say (that you'll give up your belief),
we'll bury you under the slope."
