Falun Dafa Practitioners Participate in Independence Day Parade in Rhode Island (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Independence Day Parade in Rhode Island has a long history. It is in the 217th year. Practitioners from Massachusetts and Connecticut along with the Rhode Island practitioners participated in this year's parade.

About 50 Dafa practitioners were in the Falun Dafa procession. Two Western practitioners holding a banner reading "Falun Dafa in Rhode Island" walked in the front in high spirits. Three female practitioners in white skirts holding round boards with the words "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and six female practitioners wearing pink Tang Dynasty style dress followed. Then came a male dancing team with red-silk sashes followed by the Falun Dafa float, around which were big banners reading "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and "Falun Dafa is good." On the float, four young practitioners sat on a model of the lotus and three female practitioners sitting besides the lotus demonstrated meditation exercise. Marching at the end of the procession were over 20 practitioners.

The wonderful performance won the admiration of the local residents. People applauded and acclaimed, "Very beautiful!" "Thank you for coming to the parade!" "Doing great!"
