Practitioner Liu Hong of Yanji City, Jilin Province Killed by Local Police

Falun Gong practitioner Liu Hong was a schoolteacher in Yanji City. He was steadfast in validating Dafa and clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. In November 2001, he was illegally arrested by the police. Refusing to cooperate with the persecution, he protested by going on a hunger strike and was force-fed. In mid December he was suffocated as the food was forced into his air passages during a force-feeding session. He lost consciousness and was sent to the Yanji City Hospital for emergency treatment, but died soon after being admitted. Later, Yanji City Public Security Bureau and Yanji City Detention Center strictly enforced an information blockade, so more details have been difficult to obtain. Practitioners who have more information, please help to fill in the details.
