(Clearwisdom.net) Honorable Teacher said in "Lunyu,"

"'Buddha Fa' is most profound; among all the theories in the world, it is the most metaphysical and extraordinary science. In order to explore this domain, humankind must fundamentally change its conventional thinking. Otherwise, the truth of the universe will forever remain a mystery to humankind, and everyday people will forever crawl within the boundary delimited by their own ignorance."

In a village, I saw a big tall white horse being tied to a thin and short wood stake. I was surprised and asked the old man who just tied the horse, "Could it run away?" The old man confidently told me, "This will not happen. When this horse was a colt, I tied it to this wood stake. At the beginning, it tried to get free from this wood stake. However, it was not powerful and could not get free. Later on, when it had enough strength, it no longer has the courage to fight against that wood stake."

I suddenly realized the reason that the horse could be tied to that thin wood stake was not that the horse was not capable, but it had a shackle that was created by his notion.

How pitiful it is when being confined by false assumptions like that. Thus, I thought of many of our practitioners, especially some new practitioners who are being controlled by their notions, not believing their own abilities and not taking it seriously when sending forth righteous thoughts. This is very dangerous and it can give the evil opportunities, which would continue the persecution of Dafa disciples; in addition more damage can occur if they have impure thoughts during sending forth righteous thoughts. In "Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference," Teacher said,

"Of course, when we eliminate evil you should keep in mind that if you have the intention of showing off, have ordinary human fears, or have impure thoughts, you won't be able to achieve the goal. Why do you have an ability like this? It's only because you are a great cultivator. So when you send forth that thought it couldn't have been sent by anyone but a great cultivator." Teacher also said, "Actually, my disciples all have abilities, and this includes students in China and other countries, as well as some new students. They all actually have abilities."

Teacher also told us in "Fa Lecture at Conference in Florida, U.S.A.,"

"How far a person wants to cultivate to and what realm a person wants to reach are his own business. Master can only tell you the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts. "

Therefore, being Dafa disciples, we should follow Teacher's advice, pay more attention to the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts, break through the restrictions of notions, trust our own abilities, eliminate all evil elements in other dimensions that persecute Dafa disciples, clarify the truth, offer salvation to sentient beings with benevolence, completely reject the old forces' arrangements, closely follow the process of Fa-rectification, and deserve the great name of "Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples."
