Evil Receives Karmic Retribution in Chongqing

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape karmic retribution.

1. Wen Jianping was specifically assigned to persecuting Falun Gong in Jingguan Town, Beipei District. He illegally fined one Falun Dafa practitioner 5,000 Yuan for appealing in Beijing in February 2000. Although the practitioner's son paid the fine, Wen still forced the Falun Dafa disciple to attend a brainwashing session. When Wen tried to force Falun Dafa disciples to curse Dafa, he felt severe stomach pain and was taken to the hospital. After two operations, Wen Jianping remains very weak, and was demoted at work.
2. An old man from a Textile Factory in Shuitu Town, Beipei District, said "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" and Falun Dafa are not good. He fell and broke his leg within one week. As a result he has to use crutches to walk.
3. Near the Shuitu Town Broadcasting station there is a woman barber with the last name of Sheng. She said bad things about Falun Dafa to her customers. Three days later she became very ill and was unable to work for over three months. She has spent several thousand Yuan, but is still very pale.
4. On June 20^th, 2002, a woman from Shuitu Town, living across the street from Yubei Spirit Factory, tore down two Falun Dafa truth-clarifying flyers. She fell and broke bones in her feet several days later. She is still unable to walk.
5. In March and April this year, the Party Secretary in a Junior High School in Jingguan Town spread slander of Falun Dafa at school meetings and staff meetings. He asked every one to write papers criticizing Falun Dafa. In May, He suffered an extremely painful protrusion of the lumbar intervertebral discs and osteophytosis. He was unable to work for over a week, and still holds his lower back as he walks. It is said that he had practiced Falun Dafa earlier, and been promoted from a regular teacher to the Party Secretary after the persecution started in July 20, 1999. He went against Falun Dafa for the sake of fame and self-interest.
6. A Junior High school teacher in Jingguan Town spread slander of Falun Dafa. Although practitioners clarified the truth to him, he refused to believe it. Several days later, his front teeth were broken when a soccer ball hit his mouth. It is so painful he cannot sleep.

Kindhearted people, please distinguish righteous behavior from evil. Falun Dafa is teaching people to be good, to cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. Whoever supports Falun Dafa or treats Dafa disciples with respect will be rewarded with virtue. To treasure Falun Dafa is to treasure your own life.
