Multiple Arrests of Dafa Practitioners in Jilin Province's Shulan City

(Clearwisdom.net)

At noon on July 19, 2002, lawless officers from Shulan City's Qilixiang Police Precinct broke into Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Yuzhen's home, whom they kidnapped. They confiscated some Dafa books, truth clarification materials and a mini copying machine. They also kidnapped two additional Dafa practitioners, Cheng Ji and Zhu Yingmin, from her home. Afterwards, they went to ransack Zhu Yingmin's house. These three Dafa practitioners are now illegally detained at Shulan City's Detention Center.

We have heard that persons from Shulan City's Baiqi Police Precinct are now carrying out the orders from "610 Office" [The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems]. On July 29, they kidnapped Falun Gong practitioners in Baiqi Town. Some Falun Gong practitioners who found out their plans had to leave their homes, to avoid illegal arrest. We also know that Falun Gong practitioners 61-year-old Ms. Wang Shufen and Ms. Xi Yunjing were kidnapped. They are illegally detained at Shulan City's Detention Center.

A village cadre let it be known that Shulan City's "610 Office" held a meeting to assign tasks to officers who are in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. Right after July 20th they attempted to escalate the persecution against Dafa practitioners within the following two months.
