A Response to "My Opinions on the Issue of Coordination Among Falun Dafa Practitioners"

(Clearwisdom.net) I believe this article (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2002/7/29/24620.html) will strike a chord with many practitioners. I also think that the author could clearly and rationally explain the relationship between Dafa practitioners and the Falun Dafa Associations.

Master has stressed many times that there are no leaders in Dafa, and everyone is a practitioner. On the righteous cultivation way, everyone tries to walk his own path, and there are no role models.

As early as July 31, 1997, Master pointed out in the article "Abandon Human Attachments and Continue True Cultivation" from Essentials for Further Advancement,

"Anyone who comes to study the Fa--no matter how learned he is, how big his business, how high his rank, what special skills he has, or what supernormal abilities he possesses--must actually practice cultivation. Cultivation practice is magnificent and solemn. Whether you can abandon your particular human notions is a major test that you will have difficulty passing, yet you must pass. After all, as a disciple truly practicing cultivation, you must abandon these attachments since you can never reach Consummation without abandoning these notions."

Yet there are still quite a few practitioners who don't have deep understanding of the Fa and admire "special practitioners--" those practitioners who, in their minds, have special skills, higher diplomas, or are professors, attorneys, people with fame or power, or who are contact persons of the Falun Dafa Associations, etc. Whenever there is a question they will take the words of these people, forgetting to judge with principles taught by Master, forgetting that they are Dafa cultivators, and forgetting that in cultivation we should take the Fa as the Teacher. This is not a good trend, and we should correct this promptly. Cultivators must eliminate the attachment to fame, interest and passion, instead of reinforcing them; otherwise we wander far away from the Fa!

Master is so merciful with every practitioner, so merciful with every life; we should cherish Master's teachings.

We hope every practitioner, especially the assistants, coordinators of projects and practitioners of the Falun Dafa Associations take a good look at the above-mentioned article, eliminate the notion of class, and eliminate the notion of leadership. Always put Dafa at the first place, act as a Dafa practitioner of the Fa-rectification period, and be a benevolent practitioner with a generous character.
