Illinois Practitioners Clarify Truth at An Election Convention (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 7th, Chicago Falun Dafa practitioners attended the third election convention organized by Congressman Mr. Danny Davis of Illinois State District 7. Many government departments, banks, schools and other organizations set up over 40 booths. Chicago practitioners also applied for a booth. This was their second time participating in this convention. Around 9 A.M., when the practitioners were setting up the booth, Congressman Davis walked by. A practitioner showed him the big advertisement they put on Epoch Times Newspaper that thanked all Illinois Congressmen for their support on U.S. Resolution No. 188. He happily accepted it. During the convention, a truth-clarifying material "A Witness of History" played an important role. Many people condemned Jiang Regime's crimes of persecuting the honest people after they read the material. When they were told that Jiang is about to visit American, a large portion of the people said they didn't want to see him to come to America.

Here are some moving stories from the event.

A lady came to our booth. Even before we greeted her, she had already picked up the pen and signed our "Signature Drive" form. After signing her name, she asked for a stack of blank forms to take back to collect more signatures for us. Later we found out that she had been paying attention to the Falun Gong issue for a long time.

Another mid-aged African American lady said she cried when she saw the news about Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China. When she talked to us, tears came into her eyes again.

Another old gentleman who worked for the government told us that he knew many things about the persecution in China. When he was told that Jiang is coming to visit America, he said, "I haven't met him before and I don't want to see him in the future."
