South Africa: Introducing Falun Dafa at the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) From August 26 to September 4, 2002, the United Nations World Summit on Sustainable Development was held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Over 45,000 representatives of many non-governmental organizations and governments from 140 countries attended the summit. Falun Gong practitioners from South Africa, Australia, Singapore and Lesotho also took advantage of this precious opportunity to introduce Falun Dafa and clarify the truth.

We set up an exhibition booth at the non-governmental organization conference hall in the South Africa National Exhibition Center, held Falun Dafa introduction class and offered free exercise instruction to summit attendees. Many representatives visited our photo exhibition. They were all shocked to learn about the brutality of the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong. They expressed their support to us. Some representatives also came to the exhibition hall to join our free exercise instruction classes.

A delegate from South Africa told us that he would inform his government about these human rights violations. We met a number of government representatives and officials of Foreign Affairs from different countries and handed the truth-clarifying materials to them.

Meanwhile, many media including CNN, BBC, South Africa Radio Station and TV station, and ETV came to interview us. We utilized this opportunity to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa and introduce Dafa to people from all over the world. We hope they will spread our message of requesting to end the persecution far and wide.
