On January 16, 2001, Dafa practitioners Chai Guijin, Chai Guiru, Li Jingchun and Jiao Shuxian were illegally sentenced to over three years of imprisonment. Among them, Chai Guijin was illegally sentenced to four years in jail. He is currently being held in Chadian, Tianjin.

In November 2001, female Dafa practitioner Sun Shuhua from Shicheng village was arrested in another town while telling people the facts about the persecution. She was then sentenced to 18 months of forced labor "re-education," and is currently being held in the Daxing Female Labor Camp.

On December 21, 2001, Dafa practitioner Wang Yinling, who was forced to become homeless for almost one year, was arrested and illegally sentenced to 18 months of forced labor.

On April 25, 2002, Dafa practitioner Zhang Xiulian from Dongshaoqu Township went to Tiananmen Square to safeguard Dafa. On May 3, 2002, Dafa practitioner Aihua walked out of the brainwashing class in a military base in Miyun with righteous thoughts.

On July 4, 2002, Chai Xiaoju from Dongshaoqu Township, who was forced to become homeless for 16 months, was arrested while making truth-clarifying materials. Five days later, she was illegally sentenced to 18 months of forced labor. (Chai Xiaoju, 29 years old, was once arrested together with another fellow practitioner in 2001. She went on a hunger strike to protest for over 20 days).

On the night of July 20, 2002, Yang Fengqing was arrested while making truth-clarifying materials. He was then illegally sentenced to 1.5 years of forced labor.

On the night of July 20, 2002, a villager named Ding Hongmin (non-practitioner) helped Dafa practitioners to make truth-clarifying materials, and was then sentenced to 1.5 years in a forced labor camp.

At present, the unscrupulous officials in Dongshaoqu Township have threatened the township official Ma Heping with his job, forcing him to look for his relative, a Dafa practitioner who was forced to become homeless. The police frequently go to his home to harass him.
