According to a World Daily report published on September 13, archeologists in China have unearthed a large find of Stone Age relics including over 1,000 stone tools that were about 800,000 years old at the Baise Basin in Guangxi Province.

Xinhua news reported that the relics were found in the mountains of Tiandong County of Baise Basin. While many relics have been unearthed there, this is by far the largest find.

Xinhua also reported that archeologists found large numbers of hand pickaxes, thin edged knives, and chopping tools that are typical Stone Age tools and unique to Baise Basin.
