Austria: Practitioners Call on Austrian Prime Minister to Ask Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rongji to Help End the Persecution (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On September 19, 2002, on the occasion of Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rongji visiting Austria, Dafa practitioners in Austria held a press conference in a famous cafe in Vienna and called on all circles to pay attention to Jiang regime's brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China. The practitioners exposed Jiang regime's persecution using various economic means, and the harmful consequences to Western corporations. A Dafa practitioner studying toward a law degree exposed Jiang regime's persecution from the angle of law.

On the evening of September 20, 2002, Austria National Radio reported the press conference during prime time. The report started by saying that "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is the principle of Falun Gong" and went on to discuss the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. It also reported that the practitioners handed over an appeal letter to Austria's Prime Minister, asking him to help end the persecution when he held talks with Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rongji.

In the evening of September 20, 2002, Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rongji went to Austria's Prime Minister's Office for a state dinner. Austrian Dafa practitioners held a candlelight vigil in front of the Austrian Prime Minister's Office to commemorate practitioners who have died in Jiang regime's persecution and to call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
