Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. On March 3, 2002, a collaborator (former practitioner who went astray due to brainwashing and torture and aided persecution against steadfast practitioners) named Du Jinfan in Puyang City, Henan Province went to an evil brainwashing center in Nanle County to conduct a brainwashing class. When he tried to deceive a dozen Falun Dafa practitioners during the meeting, he immediately received a headache and he felt pain in his legs too. His eyeballs also hurt and they seemed to bulge outward. He felt so much pain that he left the meeting immediately.

The husband of a Falun Dafa practitioner in Nanle Couty, Henan Province is very hostile towards Dafa. He often interferes with his wife while she is doing the exercises and reading the Fa. On the morning of August 25, he tore a copy of a Minghui newspaper that his wife brought from other places in the country. As a result, he received a headache that lasted for seven to eight days with no sign of relief. Recently, he became unemployed.
