Falun Dafa Photo Exhibition Held at University of Missouri at St. Louis (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) From September 3 to September 6, 2002, after the "Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition was successfully concluded at the St. Louis City Hall in Missouri, practitioners learned that the schedule of the photo exhibition at the next place was postponed for a week, so they planned to hold a photo exhibition at the University of Missouri at St. Louis, where there are many Chinese students. As time was pressing, it seemed hard to apply for a booth. The practitioners tried their best to contact different departments and clarified the truth to officers in charge. As a result, we were granted a permit to have a booth at the Student Center. We then worked together the entire Sunday night to decorate the booth.

While we were decorating the booth, students passing by saw the photos illustrating the wide spread of Falun Dafa. They could not help but to show their sincere admiration. When they learned that there would be a five-day exhibition beginning on Monday, they said happily, "We will definitely come to visit tomorrow." The five-day exhibition achieved good results, as many people learned that Falun Dafa has been widely spread all over the world for ten years and the fact that it has brought both physical and mental well-being to 100 million people in over 60 countries. They also learned about the three-year brutal persecution Falun Gong practitioners have suffered in China and their peaceful resistance.

A student from China said with concern, "I called home in China the other day, and my family told me that the government has intensified the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners." Another student from China asked why there are so many people holding PhD degrees and Master degrees who practice Falun Gong. The practitioners told her that if she could read through Zhuan Falun from beginning to end with an open mind, she would know why. The student seemed to understand.

Some students suggested using the Internet to clarify the truth to people of the world. Many students and faculty members looked at the photos carefully and expressed their wish to come to the practice site to learn the exercises from us. Several of them began to learn it on the spot. Many students and faculty members signed on the postcards to be sent to President Bush to request him to help end the Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong immediately.

Through five-day exhibition, we all understand that if we do not miss any opportunity to clarify the true facts about Falun Dafa, we will lead more and more people to know the truth, and more and more predestined people will come to join us in cultivation.
