Because some parts of the house needed to be replaced, I was asked to be the interpreter because the new neighbor does not understand English well, and I got to know the hostess. We seem to have a strong predestined relationship, as we became quite close right away

A few days later, she came to my home to say thanks. I thought that since she just came from China this was a great chance to clarify the truth of Falun Gong. I asked: "Did you hear anything about Falun Gong in your hometown?"

She said that she hadn't, but then she said, "After I had just arrived in the airport, a good-looking girl gave me a brochure when I was gathering my luggage. After a while I had a look at that brochure, and it talked about Falun Gong. I was so scared, I threw it away."

I said with a sigh, "That is such a pity. I am a practitioner of Falun Gong, what do you think of me?"

She said, "You are such a good person. I am so lucky to meet such noble people!"

I said, "Practitioners of Falun Gong are people who want to become good persons, and they are people cultivating "Zhen-Shan-Ren" (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance). Our teacher teaches us that every one of us should cultivate his inner self, and consider others first when taking any action. This way human society would become better and ethical standards would again rise. The Chinese TV and newspapers published fake news to defame Falun Gong. The Tiananmen self-immolation events were not done by Falun Gong practitioners; the principles of Falun Gong explicitly state that killing or committing suicide is a sin. I have a video about clarifying the truth, do you have time now?"

"Yes, I have time," she answered.

After watching the truth-clarifying video together for just over an hour, she said excitedly, "Now I see. This is the real story! Could you lend me the video to show my children at home?"

"Of course," I said.

Later she told me that her child watched it twice on the computer and then understood what happened. I told her that Zhuan Falun is a precious book and that practitioners of Falun Gong are fortunate to have obtained it.

One day she suddenly came to my home and spoke to me seriously as soon as she came into the door, "My sister, I just washed my hands and have come here to borrow Zhuan Falun from you." I told her conscientiously that she should read the book everyday continuously without any break.

Over one week later, she returned the book to me. She said, "I feel that reading this book is different than reading other regular books. I have to read this book seriously word by word. After finishing this book, I know how to live and behave in a foreign country."

I do feel happy from my heart that she can get the Fa. I also lent her some of our teacher's other articles such as "A brief statement of mine." I said, "How lucky you are! Go aboard to know the truth of Falun Gong and obtain the Fa. Many practitioners in China take the risk of losing their life to tell people 'Falun Gong is good.' But still so many people in China are deceived by lies. They don't understand Falun Gong practitioners, and they are hostile and biased toward Falun Gong; some of them even help the evil to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. If you have a chance, please tell the truth to your relatives and friends in China."

A few days later, my new neighbor told me happily that she has started to tell the truth to her relatives and friends in China.

She said, "I told my friend that Falun Gong has spread to over sixty countries outside of China and that many practitioners have high educational backgrounds and many of them are high level technology professionals. My friend understood. She said if only workers and farmers practiced Falun Gong, how could it make Jiang so scared?" We smiled. I told her, Falun Gong spreads this way - people telling people, from heart to heart. The truth of Falun Gong, therefore, spreads from one to ten, and then from ten it spreads to one hundred. Any despicable way of blockading the truth is useless.

This true story also tells me that clarifying the truth to the Chinese people is a deep and detailed process.
