In A Few Words: Pay Reverence to Master and Dafa, Study the Fa Diligently

(Clearwisdom.net) I was enlightened when a fellow practitioner mentioned that treating Fa-study the same way as everyday people studying theories was the main reason for having no progress when studying the Fa.

I realized that since every word in the book is the Law Body of Master, studying the Fa from the book is the same as Master teaching the Fa in person. If Master is teaching the Fa in person, dozing, losing concentration, or thinking about how to do the Dafa work is paying no respect to Master. Refusing to believe what it cannot see, our human side has poor enlightenment quality, is not determined, and does not believe. Therefore we are not sincere, respectful, and focused when we are reading, as we would be while listening to Master in person at a Fa Conference. In other words, if our human side does not believe that Master is teaching the Fa when we are reading the Fa, then how we can see the real manifestation of the Fa?

After realizing this, I was very focused when studying the Fa that evening. I usually fell asleep around 11:00 p.m. when studying the Fa, and missed the 12:00 a.m. sending righteous thoughts, and couldn't get up at 6:00 a.m. That evening, I studied the Fa until 12:00 a.m. effortlessly, and went to sleep after sending righteous thoughts, and woke up at 5:00 a.m. in the morning, and got up to send righteous thoughts. My spouse woke up after I finished sending righteous thoughts, and got up to study the Fa with me. This never happened before. We felt that we had melted into the Fa.
