Shenyang Falun Dafa Practitioner Yu Ming Suffers Cruel Torture in Beijing's Tuanhe Labor Camp

Yu Ming, 30 years old, was the manager of the Wuai Market in Shenhe District of Shenyang City. When he went to validate Dafa at Tiananmen Square with his wife Ma Li in 2001, he was taken forcibly to the Tuanhe Labor Camp, 2^nd Team, in January.

The labor camp police tortured him using various methods. They took turns keeping him awake and punishing him physically. As a result of the physical punishment, he passed out and fell on the floor of the team office. After waking, the malicious police slandered him saying that he had been "attacking police and not obeying the management," and handcuffed him to a radiator pipe to shock him with electricity. Yu Ming would not yield or cooperate, and the police dislocated his arm.

In January 2002, he was sent to the brainwashing center known as the, "Building to Transform Important Practitioners." Since the police could not make him renounce his beliefs, they shocked him with electric batons.

In May, Yu Ming was sent to the brainwashing class and had to sit straight from 6am to 12am. Once, he dropped a few breadcrumbs and the police accused him of fasting.

His term in the labor camp has now exceeded 10 months. It is said that he was sent to Labor Camp Dispatch Department afterward, where he still refused to cooperate with the evil. His eyes have dark circles under them, and he has suffered from angina pectoris many times. At one point, he was sent to the hospital. Currently, nothing is known of his whereabouts.
