(Clearwisdom.net) More than 700 Falun Gong practitioners are being detained in the Baimalong Female Forced-labor Camp in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province. Hoping to force practitioners to renounce their beliefs, the labor camp organized a special team to torture them both physically and mentally. Many Dafa practitioners went on a hunger strike in protest. Some were tortured so badly that they lost consciousness several times. Even so, the guards would still continue the torture.

Three practitioners, Cao Jianzhen, Liu Caiyun, Zuo Shuchun, were tortured to death in this manner. Ms. Cao Jianzhen was beaten so badly by the police that three of her ribs were broken. She suffered severe internal injuries and passed away shortly after she was carried home. Liu Caiyun was on a hunger strike for 8 months, yet she was still being brutally tortured. Her face was so swollen that she could barely open her eyes. She wasn't released until she was on the brink of death. Ms. Liu passed away shortly after being released. Female practitioner Zuo Shuchun passed away due to being subjected to force-feeding with tubes while she was on hunger strike.
