(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Xiangcheng City, Henan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Jun Held in Custody
Indefinitely by the Xiangcheng Detention Center Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Jun from Xiangcheng City, Henan Province, went to appeal on behalf
of Falun Gong in October of 1999. He was arrested at the National Appeals Office in Beijing and sent
to a forced labor camp in Kaifeng City at the end of 1999 to serve two and a half years of forced
labor reeducation. His term was extended for six months when he resisted the persecution. In
October, after the extended term had been served in, he was taken back to his hometown by police
officers from Xiangcheng City and thrown into the Xiangcheng Detention Center to be held in custody
indefinitely. 2. [Liaoyang, Liaoning Province] Over Ten Falun Dafa Practitioners from Liaoyang Area Arrested
Since August 2002 Over ten Falun Dafa practitioners from Liaoyang area have been unlawfully arrested since August
2002. Three of the practitioners have walked out of the den of evil with righteous thoughts. Those
remaining have all suffered from varying degrees of abuse. 3. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Xin Unlawfully Sentenced to Three
Years Forced Labor The Political Security Section of the Beidao Police Department in Tianshui City, Gansu Province,
has unlawfully sentenced Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Xin from the Gansu Woolen Yarn Factory to
three years of forced labor reeducation. She was sent to the Women's Brigade in the Anning Section
of the Gansu Provincial No. 2 Forced Labor Camp about two weeks ago. Her husband Fan and fellow
practitioner Li Chunsheng are still in unlawful in custody at the Beidao Detention Center. The
Political Security Section of the Beidao Police Department is secretly working to sentence them
unlawfully. 4. [Qianjiang City, Hubei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Guiping Loses Consciousness
after Severe Beatings; Li Mingyun Unlawfully Sent to a Forced Labor Camp Zhang Guiping is an employee of the Cotton Purchasing Station in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province.
She was abducted by the members of the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to
persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all
other political and judiciary systems] on October 31, 2002. Zhang Guiping refused to give up
practicing Falun Gong, and her leg was broken as a result of brutal beatings. She was unconscious
for an entire day. Worried about her possible death, the "610 Office" had her sent to her
remote hometown. While walking home at 10:00 a.m. on November 2, Falun Dafa practitioner Li Mingyun was abducted
by the "610 Office" in Qianjiang City. Li Mingyun was then sentenced to forced labor
reeducation without any evidence being presented or any reason given. Four other Falun Dafa
practitioners have recently been sentenced to forced labor reeducation. 5. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] The "610 Office" in Qingdao City Arrests Over a
Dozen Falun Dafa Practitioners The "610 Office" in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, has operated unconscionably in
persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Over a dozen Falun Dafa practitioners from the Qingdao City,
Jimo, and Jiaonan areas are currently being held in custody by the "610 Office" at No. 34
Mingxia Road, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. 6. [Jintan City, Jiangsu Province] Telephone Numbers of the "610 Office" Members and
Police Officers in Jintan City, Jiangsu Province The police stations and the "610 Office" in Jintan City, Jiangsu Province, have been
responsible for sending over 40 Falun Dafa practitioners to forced labor camps for persecution, and
hence have become a "model" in the Changzhou area for brutally suppressing Falun Gong. [China] A Terrifying Scene on the Freeway One afternoon Zhang, a young Falun Dafa practitioner, was driving on a two-lane freeway with four
passengers in his car. Traveling at the higher speed of the freeway, Zhang suddenly spotted a
freight truck in the right lane and prepared to pass it. Just as he moved out to the left, the truck
also pulled into the left lane, leaving no room for Zhang to yield. Zhang hit the breaks, but rammed
into the truck so hard that the rear bumper of the truck was bent out of shape and all the windows
in Zhang's car were completely shattered. His car was so crushed that the passengers inside could
hardly move . The force of Zhang's chest hitting the steering wheel knocked it out of shape. The
only injuries Zhang suffered, however, were a few scratches on his eyelids and the ridge of his
nose. After a great deal of effort, Zhang and all other passengers managed to extricate themselves
from the vehicle. When passersby who stopped to look at the damaged car asked with concern how many
had been sent to hospital, one of the passengers told them, "We are all right here." The
on-lookers could hardly believe their eyes that any passengers could have escaped from this terrible
accident unscathed. Zhang immediately realized that the evil had come to take his life, and it must be that he had
ignored studying the Fa, doing the exercises, and sending forth righteous thoughts. It was Master
who saved him and all other passengers in the car. January 6, 2003
