(Clearwisdom.net) One day, when I was about to send forth righteous thoughts,
I suddenly felt my right hand was very weak. Now matter how hard I tried, I
could not raise my palm to the right position and, moreover, this hand could not
bear weight when I did other things. If this had happened at the beginning of my
cultivation, I'd have treated it as karma elimination and borne it without
complaint. However, in this Fa-rectification period, we are not doing typical
personal cultivation. We are helping Teacher and rectifying the Fa, and our most
important tasks are to eliminate the evil, clarify the truth, and save sentient
beings. Our progress in cultivation should reflect this focus.
Teacher said in Touring North America to Teach the Fa,
"So for you, personal Consumation is minor. You have cultivated multiple times in history, and have gone through journeys like this in many time periods. The current test of your reaching the standard for personal Consummation isn't a big deal at all." "So a Dafa disciple''s responsibilities aren't for the sake of personal Consummation, but to save sentient beings while validating the Fa-that is a Dafa disciple's historic mission, and that is why Dafa disciples are truly magnificent."
I understood that, as a Dafa particle following the progress of Fa-rectification,
we are done with the purification of the body and the elimination of karma of
the personal cultivation period. At the present time, if we have any physical
discomfort, it will affect our eliminating the evil, clarifying the truth and
saving sentient beings. What we face is not eliminating our own karma and
enduring tribulations, but interference by the evil forces disrupting us in our
task of helping Teacher and rectifying the Fa. Therefore, we must break through
it with righteous thoughts.
When I realized this I began sending forth righteous thoughts directed at the
discomfort in my right hand. I managed to send forth righteous thoughts at the
beginning of every hour. Two days later my right hand was still feeble, and I
still couldn't fully raise it. Although I saw no immediate effect, I believed in
Teacher''s words: "Dafa disciples'' righteous thoughts are powerful." Meanwhile
I paid more attention to Fa-study and purified my thoughts incessantly. I could
feel that my righteous thoughts were getting more and more powerful. Whenever I
sent forth righteous thoughts, powerful energy was emitted from my right hand,
and the lumps of black and foul matter there gradually disappeared. By the fifth
day of sending forth righteous thoughts, my hand had recovered completely.
