Pay Attention to "Minding Minor Details"

(Clearwisdom.net) I used to be a person who did not mind minor details in many ways, such as not treasuring things, not paying attention to being neat and so on. These "trifles" never drew my attention and I even thought these were not so important at all. Recently I suddenly realized, beneath "not minding minor details," which I considered very good, there is a deep, hidden attachment and an imperceptible degeneration that I should rectify.

Speaking on the issue of treasuring things, even ordinary people know this is a virtue. A practitioner, who knows it is Gods who set the moral standards for human beings, should abide by this even more. Nowadays, many people squander willfully. Other than following an unhealthy tendency of ordinary people, a practitioner during the Fa-rectification period should behave most righteously to rectify all unrighteousness. Master told us,

"In addition to human beings and animals, plants are also lives. Any matter's life can manifest in other dimensions. When your Celestial Eye reaches the level of Fa Eyesight, you will find that rocks, walls, or anything can talk to you and greet you." (From Chapter 7, Zhuan Falun)

Therefore, shouldn't we even treasure a needle or a thread? Doesn't it mean to cherish and protect all living beings? As matter of fact, it is our degenerated notion that makes us not see or realize it. The same principle applies to the issue of attention to be neat. Disorganization and sloppiness means not respecting others as well as yourself. And the evil could also take advantage of this loophole to damage Dafa.

In fact, treasuring things or paying attention to being neat is not just for show, but a natural behavior. As Fa-rectification practitioners, we should behave in such a way. Everything manifested in the Fa should be wonderful. It is in the human society that there is such a saying of "not minding minor details." It is a degenerated notion and can lead us to indulge in our speech and behavior.

"Not minding minor details" can manifest in many "trifles" that are seemingly too tiny to arouse our attention. In fact, many attachments and imperceptible degenerations are hidden beneath the "trifles." To those fellow practitioners who don't mind minor details, I think we should pay attention to the issue and overcome this demonic habit. Some practitioners may think it is too hard to overcome it since we would simply forget the issue when we are busy. When talking about quitting smoking, Master said,

"Some people also know that it is not good, but they just cannot quit. In fact, let me tell you that they do not have correct thoughts to guide themselves, and it will not be easy for them to quit that way. As a practitioner, why don't you take it as an attachment to be abandoned, and see if you can quit." (From Chapter 7, Zhuan Falun)

Following Master's teachings, you can defeat it.

Above is my personal understanding. Please point out anything improper.
