Wang, a police guard at the Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province detention center, inhumanely tortures Falun Dafa practitioners. He beat up many practitioners until their bodies were black and blue with bruises. On one occasion he instructed a criminal prisoner to force-feed a female practitioner with stool and urine.

The authorities in Dashiqiao City have never treated Falun Gong practitioners according to legal procedures. They arbitrarily sentence practitioners to forced labor camps and jail. Practitioner Ma Shuyan (female) was sentenced to seven years of forced labor reeducation for distributing Falun Dafa truth-clarifying flyers; practitioner Zhao Huiqin (female) was sentenced to eight years of jail time for distributing truth-clarifying flyers. The authorities plan to give heavy sentences to the five Falun Gong practitioners who exposed the facts of senior practitioner Li Yanghua's death. In addition, they plan to sentence other practitioners to jail, including Shan Xiumei (female), Chen Yuhua (female), who was arrested while walking, Zhang Juxian (female), who was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials, and Yang Yumei (female).

To coerce Falun Dafa practitioners into giving up their belief, two large, male policemen from the north were sent to the Chatou Female Forced Labor Camp. These criminal policemen monitor practitioners who resolutely refuse to write the so-called "three statements of guarantee," keep them in solitary confinement, and brutally torture them. They force the practitioners to sit in full lotus position and then tie them up with sturdy ropes. The practitioners are kept in that position over ten hours until they almost lose consciousness.

Falun Dafa practitioners are tortured in the Tianhe-Huangpu Brainwashing Class. Practitioners, including Zou Yuyun (female), were brutally beaten. In an attempt to damage practitioners' strong will, the brainwashing class police even stripped off male practitioners' trousers and pulled out their pubic hairs one by one.

The "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] abducted practitioner Wen Yanhua and sent her to a detention center because she clarified the truth of Falun Dafa.

Practitioner Xiaojing, female, 28 years old, went to the Changde Tax Bureau to visit a fellow female practitioner at around 2:00 p.m. on November 15. The police from the Chengnan Police Substation in Changde City arrested her. She was wearing a thin jacket. Her whereabouts are currently unknown. Please send forth righteous thoughts and help her free herself from the evil's control.

The local police also beat up two practitioners from Sichuang Province, Junior Li and Tong, beating them to the point that their skulls were fractured. These practitioners are currently hospitalized.

Xishui practitioners Bi Jiangfei, Xiao Jinglong (70 years old), and Chen Peng were illegally detained prior to the 16^th Party Congress. Practitioner Chen Youding, from Guankou Town, Xishui City, was illegally sentenced to one and one half years of forced labor "reeducation." In 2001, after he was released from the forced labor camp, he was arrested again and is still in detention.

The "610 Office" in Wuhan City plans to capture all practitioners who persist in practicing Falun Gong at home, and send them to the brainwashing center. We hope that practitioners in Wuhan City will send forth righteous thoughts together at 9:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m., and 11:00 p.m. every day to completely eliminate the evil beings' vicious arrangements.

Wuhan practitioner Yang Zhengwu was illegally sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp in 1999. Not long after his release in November, he was again abducted and sent to the brainwashing center.

Practitioners in Changchun City recently held several small-scale Fa conferences in various districts, with attendance of around ten practitioners at each. At the conferences, practitioners read Teacher's "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A." along with recent articles, sent forth righteous thoughts hourly to eliminate the evil that persecutes Dafa, exchanged experiences in cultivation practice, and also discussed the following issues:

- How to send forth righteous thoughts and clarify the truth more effectively on the basis of studying the Fa well.

- How to set up more materials sites to disseminate information from Clearwisdom efficiently to the public, while maintaining righteous thoughts.

- How to increase the quantity, quality, and variety of truth-clarifying materials.

- How to help jailed practitioners obtain Teacher's latest articles and reinforce introducing Dafa to the relatives of these practitioners in order to stimulate their righteous thoughts.

- How to understand the relationship between "strengthening righteous thoughts" and "validating Dafa with our wisdom."

Through these conferences, practitioners gained confidence in cultivation practice and are strengthening their responsibilities as Fa-rectification disciples.
