Finland: Many People Learn the Truth of the Persecution at a Concert in Helsinki (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net October 12, 2003) Famous rock musician David Bowie arrived in Finland on the 10th of October as part of his latest world tour. The drummer in his band, Sterling Campbell, is a Falun Gong practitioner and during the concert Friends of Falun Gong, a non-governmental human rights organization, was invited to tell people about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners happening in China. Finnish practitioners felt that it was great that David Bowie supports human rights. They took this precious chance to let many more people know about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Friends of Falun Gong had a table next to Amnesty International. Almost 2000 flyers were distributed and nearly everyone who passed by the Friends of Falun Gong booth accepted one. During the concert, whilst the audience was listening to the music, people who worked at the concert hall, security guards, vendors etc, all came to find out more and show their support by signing a petition. Many people wanted to learn more about practising Falun Dafa.

On the following day, Finnish Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese embassy with Sterling Campbell to send forth righteous thoughts.
