Doctor Li Fengying is Forcibly Sent to A Brainwashing Center by Daqing Fourth Hospital

Thirty-eight year old Dr. Li Fengying, a medical staff member of the Fourth Hospital in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, had twice been harassed and intimidated by the Party secretary of the Hospital and others for practicing Falun Dafa. They attempted to coerce her to write a "Guarantee Statement"* not to practice Falun Gong, and threatened to send her to a brainwashing class should she fail to comply.

Around 9:00am on September 10^th 2003, while on duty at the hospital, Dr Li was forcibly taken to the Red Satellite Brainwashing Class by order of the Party secretary of the Hospital. She has yet to be released.

*A "Guarantee Statement" declares that the practitioner is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.
