Once again it's National Day. Some Dafa practitioners are reminding each other to be careful, to pay higher attention to security by doing less and contact less. Soon the noise of passing police cars and patrolling cars were heard. Now let me share my personal understanding of this issue.

In the "Chapter I, The Characteristics of Falun Dafa: 7. No Concern for Location, Time, or Direction When Doing the Exercises, and No Concern About Ending the Practice" of the book The Great Consummation Way of Falun Dafa Teacher told us:

"The Falun is a miniature of the universe. The universe is rotating, all of its galaxies are rotating, and the Earth is rotating as well. Thus, north, south, east, and west cannot be distinguished. Falun Dafa practitioners practice cultivation according to the fundamental nature of the universe and the law of its evolution. So no matter which direction a practitioner faces, he or she is doing the exercises towards every direction. Since the Falun rotates constantly there is no concept of time; practitioners can do them at any time. The Falun rotates forever and practitioners are unable to stop its rotation, so there is no concept of ending the practice. One finishes one's movements but the practice is not finished."

My personal understanding is that we should follow the route arranged by our Teacher all the time and cultivate by following the principles of the universe. Our life is created by Dafa, and the "three tasks" are what we should do right now. What the old forces have tried to force upon us is included in the concept of "Sensitive Days" which have nothing to do with our Fa-rectification cultivation. We shouldn't be constrained by time. No matter what the environment is, we should not be disturbed by the arrangements made by the old forces. As Teacher has told us, "Get rid of any attachment you have, and don't think about anything. Just do everything a Dafa disciple should do, and everything will be covered." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference" (July 21, 2001)) It's we Dafa practitioners who rectify whatever is wrong and save sentient beings instead of being constrained by the old forces. When facing the evils, if you are weak, then it is strong, if you are strong, then it becomes weak.

"Of course, if you don't want to cultivate we'll leave you alone. The Law is meant to be heard by people who really cultivate. And that's why you have to commit to one discipline, and you can't even mix in thoughts from other practices. I don't teach about using thought direction here, and our Falun Dafa doesn't care much about thought direction, so don't go adding anything like thoughts into it. You really need to watch out for this. For the most part we have no thought direction. Don't Buddhists talk about Emptiness, and Daoists Nothingness?" (In Cultivation You Need to Commit to One Discipline, The Third Chapter, Zhuan Falun)

In the past, I thought that this section talked about the basic human's level rules that one should not practice different schools at the same time. Now I've enlightened to the fact that there are two arrangements and routes. One route is to follow Teacher's arrangements which is the best way to go. Doing so means one should fulfill the three tasks: studying Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth of Dafa to people. The highest level cultivation is the simplest. We do not need anything from the old forces to guide us or judge anything. "So, some people who used to practice other qigongs always have trouble letting go of things like those breathing techniques and thoughts. I teach them college-level things, but they always ask me about elementary school kids' things, like how to guide this or that thing or how to use different thoughts. They're used to doing those things now, and they think that's how qigong is. But the truth is, it's not."(The Third Chapter, Zhuan Falun)

The other route is what the old forces have arranged. "Even each Dafa disciple's every move, every action, every word, and even the questions you ponder, none of it is that simple. In the future you'll see that everything was very carefully arranged. But it's not me who arranged this, it's the old forces who did." ("Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.")

"In history the old forces arranged many, many things, and they made extremely thorough and intricate arrangements. And to make sure that nothing would go wrong with what they arranged they did a practice run with the previous earth." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.")

"The Fa can break all attachments, the Fa can destroy all evil, the Fa can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts."(Drive Out Interference, Essentials for Further Advancement II)

The current "Sensitive Days" is being enforced by the old forces. We may be unrighteous and not following Master's plan for us because our thoughts have conformed to the idea of the dark minions of the old forces. Our mind is unstable when the evil mobilizes itself, then comes the tracking, monitoring, kidnapping, and arresting, it all happens. "As I've said, everything that happens today in the ordinary society is the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts. Even though the old forces do exist, if you don't have those thoughts they can't do anything. When your righteous thoughts are strong enough the old forces can't do a thing." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.")

We should face the evil openly and with dignity, get rid of them, suppress them, because we are here to rectify the Fa and save sentient beings.
