By a Dafa practitioner from Hong Kong

(Clearwisdom.net October 20^th) During the Hong Kong Fa Conference at the beginning of this year, Saipan Dafa practitioners' pure and sincere words at the group discussion and sharing left a deep impression on Hong Kong practitioners. Thus, in October, several Hong Kong practitioners and I attended the Saipan Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference.

Early on the morning of October 11, we arrived in Saipan and had a buffet lunch in a Chinese restaurant. While paying, I heard waiters talking to each other, "Please rest assured! Look, Falun Gong people don't squander food, not like others that are so greedy, taking large amounts of food, not eating it, and throwing it away." Upon hearing this, I thought, "Local practitioners must have done quite well, if the people can naturally give positive comments."

The next morning, we went to a famous tourist site to practice the exercises and promote Dafa. Local practitioners hung many banners nearby, and displayed many truth-clarifying photo boards, because there were tourists from China. While we practiced the exercises, many Chinese tourists came up on their own initiatives to learn the truth about Falun Dafa. They hadn't expected that in such a small island there would be so many people practicing Falun Gong!

At 2:00p.m., after sending forth righteous thoughts, the Fa conference began. Dafa practitioners from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Saipan gathered together. The Fa conference site was arranged solemnly, and we could see that Saipan practitioners had put in great effort. Banners hung at the Fa conference site were all handmade by local practitioners. Saipan practitioners shared their experiences, demonstrating their purity and righteousness without concealing anything. Every Hong Kong practitioner benefited greatly.

In the evening, we held a candlelight vigil to commemorate Dafa practitioners who have been tortured to death. We called for the rescue of American citizen Charles Li, who has been illegally imprisoned in a Chinese jail, and called upon kind-hearted people to bring Jiang to justice. Later, looking at photos taken during the evening activity, we discovered that many photos taken show Faluns, big or small, and the srivatsa symbols inside some Faluns could be seen clearly.

There are not many Dafa practitioners in Saipan, and many of them are workers from China. They have to work long hours daily. It's not easy for them to practice the exercises and study the Fa. Besides fulfilling their duty as Fa-rectification Dafa practitioners to clarify the truth, they have to face financial pressure and their family members in China being harassed by Chinese police, but they are quite optimistic and are considerate of others. Several practitioners asked for time off in order to accommodate us, and didn't mind having their salary reduced. They also told us not to worry about them!

The third day we returned to Hong Kong, and due to delays in the flight, we arrived in Hong Kong around 1:00 a.m. At 5:00 a.m. I got up to go to the park to practice the exercises. I felt quite sure what I should do--I must strive forward diligently. After the morning exercises, I went to the tourist site to clarify the truth. Soon, a practitioner at my practice site who also went to Saipan arrived. She told me that she had thought of resting at home, but inspired by the Saipan practitioners' diligence, she told herself not to slack off. I was pleased for her.

I remembered Master saying,

"It's an experience sharing conference, so you still need to give talks and help one another improve. Didn't a slip just ask how we could improve as a whole? This is an opportunity to improve as a whole." ("Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference")

The Fa conference was very successful, and it achieved the effect of improving practitioners as a whole.

I think if every Hong Kong practitioner truly plays the role of a Dafa particle, and compensated for each other's weak points, the environment would be improved with our elevation as a whole. Finally, I'd like to share with fellow practitioners Master's poem:

Study the Fa and obtain the Fa,

Share in learning and share in cultivating,

Following [the Fa] in everything,
