The Persecution of Dafa Practitioner Bi Bo, A Recent Graduate of Harbin Industrial University

Mr. Bi Bo is a 21-year-old man from Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. He graduated from Harbin Industrial University in Heilongjiang Province this summer. His home phone is 86-459-6298896.

This July, Bi Bo was taken away by police while posting Dafa truth-clarification fliers in Harbin City. Later, he was sentenced to one year of forced labor. Bi Bo had a bright future ahead of him and had already passed the entrance examination for the Advanced Engineering program.

To be finally accepted into the program, Bi needed to attend a final interview, which was planned for July. However, due to the arrest, he missed the interview and as a result, was not admitted to the program. Given the current situation of the persecution of Falun Dafa, the university to which he applied may not have enrolled him anyway, due to pressure from government bodies.

After learning of the arrest of Bi Bo, his parents tried every means available to them, hoping to get their son out of the labor camp. After spending nearly 20,000 Yuan, they were still not given a chance to see their son. The events that occurred during Bi Bo's detention caused his mother to suffer a mental collapse as a result. Also, his father, a middle school math teacher, can no longer physically write Chinese characters because of the trauma that the arrest of Bi Bo brought him.
