(Clearwisdom.net, October 23, 2003) Ms. Duan Shiqiong was 32 years old, an
attendant at the Chongqiong Railway Bureau, and a Falun Gong practitioner.
In 2001, because of the persecution by Jiang's regime, she was forced to
leave home to avoid further persecution. Later in Chengdu City, she made every
effort to clarify the truth of Dafa and the facts of persecution to people. In
August 2002, she was illegally detained at the Chengdu City Detention Center by
the "610 Office"*. She went on hunger strikes to protest the
persecution. On September 16, 2003, she died while being violently force-fed by
police officers and criminals. There were eyewitnesses to the Ms. Duan's death
as a result of the force-feeding.

*The 610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong,
with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other
political or judicial systems.
