Truth-Clarifying Posters and Banners Overwhelm Emeishan City in Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Early on March 24, 2003, Dafa practitioners hung 140 truth-clarifying banners of Falun Dafa in front of the stores and along the streets of Gaoqiao, Luomu, and Jiuli, the three towns in Emeishan City, Sichuan Province. In the town of Jiuli, they also posted truth-revealing articles such as "Practitioner Zhang Zhuo in Leshan City Tortured to Death in Zhang Gongqiao No.2 Police Station;" "Guo Qiyong, Former Representative of Political Consultative Conference in Emeishan City, Tortured to Death;" "Nanmusi Women's Labor Camp Have Persecuted Nearly 2000 Female Falun Gong Practitioners;" "Notice from WOIPFG (World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong) of Setting up a Committee to Investigate on the Crimes of Chinese Labor Camps in Persecuting Falun Gong" and a brochure "The Light of Life."

There were over 180 truth-clarifying banners along the roads and market places of Luomu, Gaoqiao, and Jiuli. The banners read: "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong," "Falun Dafa is good. It is Not a Crime to be Good," "The World Needs Truth-Compassion-Forbearance." There was one poster that read, "List of the Evil Perpetrators in Emeishan City." It listed the names, titles, and organizations of the people, who are actively involved in the persecution. Among those listed were members of the City Party Committee, Political and Legal Committee, 610 Office*, City Police Department, Party Committee in Gaoqiao. The banners and posters revealed the truth to the people who have been poisoned with lies about the activities of these groups.

Those named as committing these crimes set up a special team to investigate how this was done and by whom. They discovered nothing. WOIPFG is conducting an investigation against those who have committed crimes against Falun Dafa practitioners. The 610 Office in Emeishan City removed the nameplate that was on the office door. The 610 office functions outside the constitution and continues to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
