Dafa Practitioner Mr. Tian Yicheng Arrested and His Pregnant Wife Beaten by Police in Chongqing City


(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Mr. Tian Yicheng works in the Jianghe Group, Chongqing City. On the morning of September 24, 2003, he was arrested by police from the Fuxing Town Police Station in Yuelai Village, Beifu District.

When the police went to arrest him, his wife tried to stop them, but these policemen beat her even though they knew she was pregnant. This aroused indignation among the local residents, but despite the people's appeal, the police carried Mr. Tian and his wife away.

Due to the fact that his wife was about to go into labor and she was not a Dafa practitioner, the police released her that afternoon. Now Mr. Tian has been sent to Beifu District Party School, and no further information regarding his situation is available.
