Clarifying the Truth in Various Ways Achieves Good Result (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net October 1st) On a weekend two weeks ago, more than 70 Falun Gong practitioners from San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County participated in the annual parade in Poway. A dance group composed of practitioners wearing beautiful Tang Dynasty Costumes from San Diego and a Drummers Group that had recently formed added liveliness and brightness to the processions and won a round of applause from people lining the roadside.

Our Falun Dafa procession was prominent among more than 80 participating groups and won the second prize issued by the organizing committee.

Two weeks later, we held an activity in Poway Community Library to offer free Falun Dafa exercise instructions to introduce Falun Dafa and clarify the truth. In front of the library, a police officer in uniform who was on duty asked me, "Was that your group in the parade last time in Poway?" I answered, "Yes."

The police officer had mistakenly thought that we were "a religious group with a political agenda, and had lots of troubles with the Chinese government." I clarified the facts about Falun Gong to him and told him that we are not political, nor a religious group. We are only a group of people who practice the exercises to obtain physical and mental well-being. Because the exercise is so good that we offer free exercise instructions voluntarily as Master teaches us.

I also told him that it was because of the same reason that when Falun Gong was introduced to the public in China, within a short period of time, there were more than 100 million people practicing Falun Gong. Because the number of the practitioners was so many, Jiang began persecuting Falun Gong out of his jealousy and fear.

Jiang's regime has concocted numerous lies to defame Falun Gong. The police officer finally understood and said, "Your parade was wonderful. I'm glad that you are neither political nor a religion. I'll find time to come to learn to practice the exercises." He indeed came. He looked at our display boards, had a conversation with practitioners and learned to practice the exercises. He also took VCDs and other truth-clarifying materials and expressed that he would take them home to read.

After this activity, I realized that various activities held by Dafa practitioners are closely related. Tens of thousands of people gained a favorable impression of us from the parade. The field has been rectified, so the truth clarification becomes easier and more effective.
