"If You Get Dafa Materials Overseas, Make Sure You Read Them!"

A female practitioner in China was illegally detained after July 20, 1999. The police constantly made harassing phone calls to her family, and her son often put pressure on her to stop cultivation because of his own fear of the persecution. One time her son had to leave the country but could not stop worrying. A few days before he left, he put a lot of pressure on her. He would not allow her to contact other practitioners.

Right before he left, she told him: "If someone gives you Dafa materials overseas, you must accept them and make sure you read them!" Her son did not reply. After the trip, her son had changed totally. He's changed his opinion on his mother's practicing Dafa and is willing to listen to her. He read the Dafa materials and books. He even read Master's newly released articles. He told his mother: "I know more truth than you do. I understand everything now, Falun Dafa is good."

A practitioner from Shanhaiguan, Hebei province, met an acquaintance on the street and tried to clarify the truth to him. After listening to the practitioner, the acquaintance said: "I know all Falun Gong practitioners are good people. A lady lives next to us who used to fight with her mother-in-law all the time. She complained about everything she had to do. After practicing Falun Gong, she changed completely and would do anything with no complaint. It was nothing like what the TV said. A while ago, my sister-in-law got a CD and we all watched it. We knew exactly what happened. No one believes the propaganda on TV!"
