(Clearwisdom.net) During activities held a
while ago to rescue our persecuted family members, many people told us that they
would like to learn the Falun Gong exercises. To satisfy people's request, on
the evening of November 6, we held a free Falun Gong workshop on the campus of
the University of Pittsburgh.
During the
more than two-hour workshop, the students who came to learn listened attentively to our introduction of Falun Gong and the persecution, and learned the five sets of
exercises. After the workshop, several students signed a petition to express
their support of Falun Gong.
A reporter and a photographer from the university newspaper came.
The workshop helped us realize that our truth-clarifying activities were
still not broad and thorough enough, because none of the students who came to
learn the exercises said that they had heard of the persecution of Falun Gong
before. Originally, we thought through many truth-clarifying activities and the
media's repeated reports, that most Pittsburgh residents would have already
known about the persecution in China. Now it seems that there are
still many people waiting for us to tell them the facts about the persecution.
