Taiwan: Hospital Director Says Falun Gong Saves A Fortune in Annual Health Care Costs (Photos)

in Taitung County. At the press conference, Director of County Hospital Doctor Guo expressed that from a medical perspective, patients' health showed obvious improvement after practicing Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners in Taiwan can save the Health Care Bureau about 100 million Taiwanese dollars per year.

At 11:00 a.m., a press conference was held at Taitung County Government Building. The Deputy Head of Taitung County expressed that in Taiwan and all over the world, people who love peace and freedom should join together to condemn what is happening in China. For such violent actions, if we don't stand up to stop it, we may be its victims tomorrow.

Principal Chen of Yanwan National Primary School in Taitung County benefited from practicing Falun Gong, and taught all school students to practice Falun Gong. Every morning, they practice the exercises for one hour.

In the past four years, Falun Gong has been developed rapidly in Taiwan, from 3000 people at the beginning of the illegal suppression in 1999 to more than 300 thousand people today. In 21 counties in Taiwan, government officials, university professors, doctors and lawyers, housewives, primary school students, people from different professions, social strata, nationalities, and ages--all practice Falun Gong.
