The Public's Evaluation of the Chinese Police

Below are some comments that everyday people make about the Chinese police.

"Why do the Chinese police freely go about arresting Falun Gong practitioners without reservation? Because they know Falun Gong practitioners do not hit back when being hit, or curse back when being cursed. They know that kind people are easy to bully. Why are they're so fond of raiding Falun Gong practitioners' homes? Because the police know that the Falun Gong practitioners would have no one to which to report the crime. If the police see anything valuable, they take it on the spot. Why do they follow Jiang Zemin? Because they all are the same. To them, greed, gambling and cruelty are all too normal."

"Daqing's police are thugs, thieves and rogues. Actually, they're worse than thugs. At least thugs sometimes can still tell between good and evil. But the policemen only capture good people and protect bad people. They do not dare to offend seriously bad people. I heard that the Daqing (a city in Northern China) police have tortured over 20 Falun Gong practitioners to death."

"I really hate those police the most, and truly admire Falun Gong. How dare the police prosecute Falun Gong? Why don't the police dare to prosecute the gangsters' community? This is because Falun Gong teaches 'Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance', and they are easy to bully. They do not dare to prosecute the gangsters' community because some of them are involved with the gangsters' community. Wait until I get authority. I'll send all of these abusing thugs to jail!"

"If you say there is not a single good person in the police force, it's too general. But you can say that a good person wouldn't last long if they were on the police force. That's for sure, unless they themselves turn bad as well and eventually become in the same league as the policemen. If you see a pretty decent guy join the police, and a few years later, you won't recognize him."

"One day I entered a shop, and I felt evilness in the air. It was very uncomfortable. When I left, people told me there was a female undercover police officer on watch in that shop. It was cold outside, so she watched from the shop. She said she was watching for Falun Gong practitioners. When it's holiday season, they like to arrest a lot of practitioners and extort money from them. They do not dare to offend real gangsters and muggers. However, Falun Gong practitioners go by 'Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance'. Therefore, they're not afraid to go after Falun Gong practitioners."

Actually, some police know in their minds what the public thinks of them. They persecute those who practice "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance." Following orders from the corrupt government, the police have long ago lost the hearts of the people. Anyhow, as a Falun Gong practitioner, I wish you policemen would think about what you've become. Don't follow Jiang Zemin to persecute those who you know are good people. Think about it, for you and your family. You all know that, in history, those who persecuted good and righteous people have never had good consequences.
