Australia: Bring Jiang to Justice Trial in University of New South Wales (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) In late October a group of Falun Dafa practitioners held a mock trial of the "Global Bring Jiang to Justice Lawsuit" at the University of New South Wales. The purpose was to inform the students about the lawsuit and expose former head of the Chinese Communist Party Jiang Zemin's crimes of torture, genocide and acts against humanity.

There was a brief introduction about the global coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice before the trial began. This proved to be useful in informing students and helping them understand the purpose of the mock trial. Dafa practitioners played witnesses from many professional backgrounds, who had been affected by the persecution of Falun Dafa. From Chinese students to journalists and doctors to witness lawyers, people from all walks of life have been pressured to persecute Truth, Compassion and Forbearance. After the trial, a practitioner who used to be a university student of China recalled his experience of practicing Falun Dafa and seeing the persecution spread in Mainland China after 1999.

The students watched and were moved by each testimony that together revealed the evil nature and motivation behind the persecution. Many approached the petition desk wanting to learn more about Falun Dafa's situation in China and agreed to sign the petition. Others read flyers that were handed out and some asked questions.
