A Banner Reading "Falun Dafa Is Good" Unfurled

(Clearwisdom.net) At the end of December 2000, a few practitioners and I went to Beijing to validate the Fa. We took the chance and put up truth-clarifying materials at suitable places on our way there.

When we were transferring in Taiyuan City in Shanxi province, the local police arrested three practitioners. Another practitioner and I bought new tickets and continued on our trip to Beijing.

We arrived at Tiananmen Square on the night of December 31. At the time it had been declared a restricted area under martial law. We met many practitioners from Chengdu while walking between the Square and the Wangfujing Boulevard. The Beijing police arrested them that night on Wangfujing Boulevard.

Under Jiang Zemin's order, the Beijing police demanded that whoever they came across curse Master and Dafa. Whoever refused was considered a Falun Gong practitioner and taken away immediately.

At about 10 o'clock on New Year's Day of 2001, a few practitioners and I went to Tiananmen Square. Near the national flags, a young girl quickly open up a banner and held it over the top of her head shouting: 'Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is a righteous Way!' A few police at the scene rushed toward her and held her down on the ground, kicking and beating her. The police took her banner and drove the crowd away, leaving a huge space near the national flags to prevent Dafa practitioners validating the Fa near the flags again. A young man asked people who took pictures for the tourists on the square to take a picture for him. As he was walking toward the flag, he said, "Take a picture for me." When he was there, he raised his hands to the top of his head and a banner with "Falun Dafa is Good!" was revealed. He shouted "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is a righteous Way!"

Through them, I saw my shortcomings. I looked around the square and realized that it was full of Dafa practitioners validating Dafa. People could hear the words: "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa if a righteous Way!" passing from one practitioner to another. A few practitioners rushed toward the empty space around the national flags. The young girl who had been knocked down on the ground by the police struggled to get up again and shouted: "Falun Dafa is good!" I could not hold myself any more, I pulled out my banner and shouted: "Falun Dafa is good!"
