Finland: Meeting Supportive People While Spreading the Fa (Photo)

Every Saturday, practitioners in Finland clarify the facts near the Helsinki train station. Sometimes, practitioners meet Chinese people who live in Finland or are part of a tourist groups. Recently, one Chinese person who was living in Helsinki and had met practitioners a couple of times before, talked to practitioners for a long time. When he met a Chinese tourist group by accident, he went over and appealed to them not to miss this chance to learn the truth. He also said that In China there is only one official voice, deceit. Last summer, practitioners were promoting Falun Dafa in an outdoor market. As one practitioner finished demonstrating the five exercises, he found a bag of vegetables in front of him. The other Finnish practitioners said that a person had left it for him. A few months later, a Finnish man stopped to talk to this practitioner at a supermarket. The Finnish man said that he knew the practitioner and Falun Gong and that he owns a stand in the outdoor market. He also said that the practitioner can take any vegetables from his stall for free.

When one elderly Finnish lady received Dafa materials in her letterbox, she immediately phoned a Finnish Dafa practitioner and learned the Falun Gong exercises. Although there was difficulty in communicating with one another due to different languages, teaching the exercises went very smoothly. If a problem arose, the practitioner would call a Finnish practitioner to speak to her directly. The first day she learned the exercises, she felt great. The second day, when she was about to learn the third exercise, she could only raise her right hand to shoulder height and she said that it hurt. The lady said that there was a scar on the shoulders and her right wrist. The following day however, she could easily lift her hands over her head to practice the third exercise, Penetrating the Two Cosmic Extremes. She almost couldn't believe that she could lift her hand over her head!

This September, a three year-old practitioner called Fadu, came to Finland with her Mum, Dai Zhizhen, for the second time to participate in suing the leader of the "610 Office", Luo Gan. Practitioners shared experiences and demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises. Little Fadu sincerely distributed leaflets to passersby. One practitioner met a Chinese man and was about to hand him a flyer when he said: I don't believe in the Communist Party but I don't believe in Falun Gong either. This practitioner pointed to little Fadu and said: This three year-old girl's father was murdered by the police in China for practicing Falun Gong when she was only six months old. For three years she and her mother have traveled to more than thirty countries, telling people the facts about Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong. At that time, Fadu's mother, Dai Zhizhen, walked up and took out a photocopy of her speech at the UN Human Rights Congress and her passport, saying that this was indeed true. The other practitioner was moved to tears and said that they knew how much compassion and courage she had to let people know the facts using her own terrible experiences.
