Police from Songan City, Jilin Province, Kidnap and Sentence a Mentally Disabled Person to a Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 3, 2002, the Vice Head of the Second Police Station of Qianan County, Mr. Yang, and a policeman named Liu Wei, illegally searched the home of Dafa practitioner Ms. Meng Yan. Afterwards they kidnapped her and her daughter by force.

Ms. Meng's daughter Li Li was not a Falun Gong practitioner, because she suffers from a mental disorder. However, without any mercy, the police sentenced Li Li to one year in a forced labor camp and Ms. Meng to two years. As a result, Li Li's mental condition has deteriorated, and it has brought tremendous suffering to the family. All the neighbors have denounced the police's brutality. In persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, Jiang's followers never consider the law, let alone humanitarian concerns.
