Ukraine: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Peaceful Appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy in Kiev (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net, December 14, 2003) On December 12, 2003, after informing the Kiev municipal government, the Kiev Falun Dafa Association held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Embassy, hoping through International Human Rights Day to let more people pay attention to the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China and expose the Chinese Embassy for spreading lies defaming Falun Gong.

During the appeal, practitioners unfurled banners that read, "Falun Dafa CTruthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance", "We do not oppose the Chinese government, we demand an end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners", "Stop spreading lies defaming Falun Gong." Ukraine Falun Dafa practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts together. They also distributed a formally registered truth-clarifying newsletter entitled, "Falun Dafa around the world" and clarified the facts to people.

Practitioners tried to deliver an open letter to the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine, but were rejected.

The Ukraine government that started understanding bit by bit about the facts of Falun Dafa, only sent a few police officers to maintain the order during the appeal.
