The Cross-Canada Car Tour Participates in Thunder Bay Christmas Parade and Clarifies the Truth (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) When our car tour was about to reach Thunder Bay in Ontario, local Falun Gong practitioners had planned and arranged many activities to introduce Falun Dafa to local people, including setting up a Falun Dafa booth in a health exhibition at Lakeview University, holding press conferences and performing the exercises at book stores. They also invited the media to come to cover the activities and we held a truth clarification photo exhibit at the library.

One local practitioner who was decorating a float for his company for the use in the Christmas parade thought that Falun Gong practitioners should also participate, so as to let more people learn the truth about Falun Dafa. There were two days to go from the beginning of the parade. We applied and got approval to participate. The next day we began decorating the car for the parade. Seven of us worked together with limited resources and a short period of time to prepare, and we successfully participated in the parade.

About twenty thousand people watched the parade that day, and more people viewed it at home on television. They saw the truth about Falun Dafa and listened to the beautiful Dafa music "Pu Du." Two practitioners handed out truth-clarifying materials and our handmade lotus flowers. People were happy to accept our materials and wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa. They were attracted by our peacefulness. Many people saw the words, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" on our banners, and they smiled and waved to us.

Participating in the Christmas parade was an effective way to let more people get to know Falun Dafa.
