(Clearwisdom.net) According to sources, Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Chengjun has been transferred back to Jilin Prison from the Provincial Police Hospital. His family members heard about this and requested to visit him, but were refused by the police. The police said, "Come whenever he agrees to write the 'letter'." This means they require him to write a letter slandering Dafa according to their requirements; otherwise they will not allow his family to visit.

Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Chengjun was sentenced to 19 years in prison for tapping into the Changchun cable TV system on March 5, 2002, to broadcast the truth about Falun Dafa.

According to Clearwisdom's report on October 27, 2003, more than 100 Falun Dafa practitioners detained in the Jilin Prison were on a hunger strike to protest the cruel torture of all Falun Dafa practitioners. Liu Chengjun is one of them and it has been confirmed that his life is in danger. His body is severely injured, and he has difficulty talking due to the severe torture he has endured.

Later, Liu Chengjun was transferred to the Central Hospital of the Prison Management Department (also called the Police Hospital or Labor Camp Hospital).

After the above information was published on Clearwisdom.net, Falun Dafa practitioners overseas initiated a rescue effort. Some human rights organizations extended a helping hand also. Among them, the Swiss Christian Anti-Torture Organization wrote to Chinese Chairman Hu Jintao, Police Head in Jilin Province Zhao Yongji, and the Chinese Ambassador in Berne, "...urgently calling for the Provincial Police Head to investigate the situation in the Jilin Provincial Prison and the Police Hospital in Changchun, to implement necessary measures to protect people from being illegally tortured by prison police."
