Northern California: Sending Postcards to Rescue Charles Li and Family Members in China (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 14, 2003, San Francisco Bay Area Falun Gong practitioners initiated an activity at Union Square in San Francisco to send postcards to rescue Charles Li and Falun Gong practitioners' family members in China. Many people passing by signed their names to support the activity. A Westerner wrote on the post card, "Dr. Li, you bring compassion to us all, and you must hold on until the end. We thank you."

Clarifying the truth

San Francisco's Union Square is located at the shopping mall. As Christmas and New Year's Day are drawing near, streams of people are going shopping and sightseeing. We displayed poster display boards and a postcard-signing desk at the central area of the square. We also played video on the truth about the self-immolation incident. Practitioners also demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises.

That day, many people learned the truth about Falun Gong and signed the postcards to request the Chinese government to release Charles Li. Many people expressed that they had learned about Falun Gong, and some of them said that they knew Charles Li is being persecuted by Jiang's regime in China. Some people followed the practitioners to do the exercises. A Chinese person from China said that he learned that the Chinese government uses some prisoners to mistreat other prisoners in prison. He also knew that the Chinese government has been fabricating lies to deceive the people. He supported Falun Gong practitioners to expose the evildoers.

A Western lady looked at the photos depicting how brutal the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in Chinese prisons really is, and with tears running down her face she said, "...It's too cruel." After learning the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa and the persecution Charles Li suffers, such as forced brainwashing, she said, "I'll tell all of this to people I know."

A person who learned the truth about Falun Gong said that as it was a holiday right now, people should be together with their families, but in China, so many Falun Gong practitioners are suffering the torment of being separated from their loved ones. You're doing great, and should let more people learn the truth.

People are become more and more clear-headed; they are paying attention to the Jiang regime's persecution of Charles Li and Falun Gong practitioners. Some people wrote on the post cards to be sent to Charles Li:
