US Congressman John Lewis: "Let Us Stand Together, and Put an End to This Persecution and Injustice"


(Clearwisdom.net) On November 29, 2003, Georgia's Fifth Congressional Representative John Lewis wrote to Falun Gong Practitioners to congratulate the 2003 Southeast US Falun Dafa Experience-Sharing Conference in Atlanta.

Congressman Lewis said in the letter: "I am pleased to send greetings and congratulations to you as you celebrate the 2003 Southeast US Falun Dafa Experience-Sharing Conference in Atlanta on November 29, 2003."

He also said: "China's abuse of persons who exercise their freedoms of religion and speech is a moral outrage that ought to be condemned worldwide. Freedom of belief is a basic right of human beings and should be protected. I firmly support and defend the human rights of Falun Gong practitioners. Let us stand together, and put an end to this persecution and injustice."

"You have my best wishes for a successful conference."
