Lawless Police from the Xinli Police Station in Panjin City, Liaoning Province Illegally Arrest Dafa Practitioners and Persecute Their Family Members
(Clearwisdom.net) In April 2002, police officers from the Xinli Police
Station in Panjin City illegally arrested Dafa practitioners within the city. Dafa practitioner Jiang Xiulan was forced to leave home to avoid being
persecuted, but was subsequently abducted by police from the Liaohe Police
Department. She held a hunger strike for 13 days and was released when she was
on the brink of death. In September, Liu Huanzhang, head of the Xinli Police
Station again tried to arrest Jiang Xiulan. She was again forced to leave home.
In order to arrest her, the perpetrators illegally detained her sister for 15
days and her brother-in-law for 24 hours. They also detained her husband for
three hours and took away her daughter, who was in school at the time, and
coerced her to find her mother. They also looked for Jiang's elder daughter, who
was working in Xinglongtai. They detained her for 18 days after finding her. They also took her to Masanjia Labor Camp and threatened her, "If you don't tell us where your mother and other Dafa practitioners are, we'll send you here." Liu Huanzhang even said, "I must send you to labor camp; otherwise, you'll revenge."
Right now, Jiang Xiulan and her daughters still cannot return home.
