My Husband's Job Interview

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Falun Dafa practitioner in China, and I am being wrongfully persecuted as a result of trying to clarify the truth about Dafa. I could not go back to live in my family's own home and had to rent some place else to live. My husband is a cook. He works regularly in a hotel. Nowadays it is difficult to be a cook because often the manager only cares about making more money and things aren't done efficiently. For example, the manager orders the cook to put leftover dishes onto a new plate and serve it as a new order, and the quality of drinks and dishes in each meal varies according to the rank and power of the customer. Cooks who work in the hotel steal wine from the restaurant and frame others for the offence. My husband understands the truth of Dafa, and so he could not bear seeing such bad behaviour going on around him, and he found it discouraging to work there.

One day, my husband came home after a job interview and told me, "I got a new job, and have even become the cook supervisor! The manager hired me because you practice Falun Gong. This time I got your blessing!" I said, "Its Dafa's blessing."

My husband continued to express his happiness, "In the interview, the manager tried to trick me and said, 'These days, it's difficult to operate a restaurant business. It is trading with our conscience. Therefore I have to find a suitable person.' I said to him, 'My wife practices Falun Gong. You don't have to worry at all. I won't do anything that is against my conscience!' After hearing this, the manager said with a smile, 'Oh really? I've heard that Falun Gong teaches Truth, Compassion and Tolerance. This time the restaurant will surely not lose money. I will let you be the cook supervisor! The husband of a Falun Gong practitioner cannot be bad at all! You can come to work tomorrow!'"
