Observations from a Dream

(Clearwisdom.net) A practitioner enlightened to something because of a dream she had. The following is what this practitioner told her mother, who is also a practitioner:

I saw many people in ancient clothing, wearing blue, gray, and other colors. They lay on the ground quietly, some with broken arms, some with missing legs. They had new injuries as well as old wounds. I asked them what had happened. They said, "A moment ago, a fierce dog bit many people and left. It will come back and bite us again after a while." Seeing that these people had no resistance at all but instead were just lying there helplessly and being bitten, I had a bad feeling. I then asked them what they ate. One of them opened a small box, which contained some unfinished food. It was rotten meat with a foul and disgusting smell. I felt very terrible at the sight of it. Right at that moment, I woke up. The disgusting feeling was still very strong.

After waking up, I thought: our carelessness and failing to do well in Fa-study, exercises, and truth-clarification have made the beings in our corresponding cosmic bodies numb. They are helplessly bearing pains that they should not suffer. I realized that I could no longer let the viciousness continue. I need to be strict with myself to eliminate the evil, to help with the Fa-rectification, and to save sentient beings. Only in this way can I be responsible for the beings that are counting on me.
