A Falun Dafa Practitioner, Who is the Chief Nurse At a Chinese Medicine Hospital, Is Tortured Until Mental Collapse

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhou Ronghua, the young former chief nurse of the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Dongguang County, Hebei Province, suffered brutal persecution by Jiang's political group because she practiced Falun Gong and tried to be a good person. She was tormented to the mental collapse.

In mid October of 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Three days later, she was brought back by the county police and illegally detained in the local detention center. She was brutally beaten and humiliated, including being whipped with a leather lash and forced to continuously squat, stand and run. She was also doused with cold water.

In order to protest the physical and mental tortures inflicted upon her, she staged a hunger strike for eight days. In the beginning of 2000, she was sent to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp for three years of forced labor.

The labor camp guards shocked her with electric batons, beat her on her face with the bottom of leather shoes, hit her with rubber and wooden batons, forced her to perform very heavy labor, and even tortured her by giving her forced injections that damaged her central nervous system. She was black and blue all over her body from the torture, and she was often brutally woken from sleep with electric shocks during the middle of the night. In the end, she was tortured to the brink of mental collapse. The Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp did not release her until they extorted over 10,000 Yuan from her family, with the excuse of treating her illness.

An elegant and talented lady, a chief nurse with expertise, and a kind and young mother, was tormented to the point of mental collapse, almost losing her life. This has caused great financial burdens for her family. Her young child and elderly parent have no one to look after them, and their lives are under great difficulty. Ms. Zhou Ronghua has been sent to the Baoding City Mental Hospital for treatment.

The "610 Office" of Dongguang County and the national security team of county police department have always been Jiang Zemin's accomplices. They are responsible for the arrests, forced labor sentences, and loss of jobs of over a dozen of Falun Gong practitioners. Zhou Ronghua is only one of these practitioners. According to incomplete statistics, practitioners from all over the county have been fined over 200,000 Yuan, and over 50 people have been illegally arrested. The illegal sentences and forced labor have been imposed on 18 practitioners. Eight practitioners were sent to brainwashing sessions, four were forced to leave their homes to avoid further persecution. Two were forced to divorce their spouses, and two lost their jobs. The devastating effects to their families and friends cannot be measured.
